To Die For Chocolate Granola

The name says it all. Once bite and you will surely be as hooked as I am. Ill never again go back to high sugar and overly processed granola options. This recipe only takes 20 minutes to make, keep the batch for a week or two and never be unprepared for breakfast again.


INGREDIENTS:

2 cups rolled oats

2 tbsp raw cocoa powder

2 tbsp raw honey

1/2 cup mixed seeds

1/2 cup mixed nuts

10 pitted and chopped dates

70g melted organic coconut oil


METHOD:

Heat oven to 160 degrees.

Add all ingredients into a baking tray, mix well and roast for 10 minutes.

Keep checking your mixture so you don’t burn it, it should roast for around 15 – 20 minutes.

Allow to cool well before packing into a container. Store for 1 – 2 weeks.

Serve with a plant based milk (almond, coconut, rice) or natural yoghurt.
